EN Meet Samantha, from Puerto Rico, working behind the bar at Restaurant Bricco West Hartford and attending Law School at University of Connecticut (UCONN). Bricco, always opening doors to diversity, has given this young woman a chance to work hard as she also pursues her academic dreams.

SP Conozcan a Samantha, de Puerto Rico, trabajando detrás de la barra en el Restaurant Bricco West Hartford y asistiendo a la Escuela de Leyes de la Universidad de Connecticut (UCONN). Bricco, siempre abriendo las puertas a la diversidad, ha dado a esta joven una oportunidad de trabajar duro mientras también persigue sus sueños académicos.

I met Samantha one day when I went to get my tip money from Restaurant Bricco West Hartford. Upon realizing that I was a worker there she walked to me and introduced herself. We spoke briefly and she agreed to let me take a photo of her.

In the times I have worked with her, she has always been very joyful and helpful. She carried a smile all the time and was very hard-working and diligent.

Although she told me that she was leaving the state, she did leave a mark in Connecticut with her work ethics and her drive. Everywhere she was, she made it a better place.
